Abstract
Artificial Intelligence, Metaverse and Emerging Technologies are transforming higher education (HE), health Tech, modern business, and used as enablers to address grand challenges such as climate change and net Carbon-footprint, smart health care training, design of future cities and global pandemic. AI has already made a profound impact on both business and society. It is inevitable that most or all industries will be affected in some way by the proliferation of artificial intelligence. In a shared research effort with Microsoft, McKinsey Global Institute estimates that roughly 50% of paid work can be automated by 2030. Many of these existing jobs are in manufacturing and service industries.
The keynote speech will focus on discussing high impact applications of AI, AR/VR & Metaverse in major sectors such as health and social care, Design of Cities, Net-zero Carbon & Smart university campus, and HE to augment the learner journey through innovative pedagogical philosophies to stimulate critical thinking.
